It's not. And it's not the current state of the team. It's the organization's structure as a whole for years. The only reason they will want it is a reference on a resume. Do you think they will take the job with the idea that they will really be able to make the decisions they want?

It has been a long season . We need a new manager and coach and a 3 year plan to be a damn hard playoff out for somebody and that should not be setting the bar too high if our All star goalie and Dman find their games again along with the kids we already have .. Dump the garbage in the top 6 and go from there....if it is really bad next year I can accept that if it looks brighter on the horizon.....put some nastiness out there and let the kids go . Let Rempe play and find a guy that can fight and play 35 games a year when needed . Try and look for speed in the back end and decent puck movement under pressure when drafting . We can be back soon enough . I'd move KAM .....if he becomes an AS elsewhere....so be it . He is just too soft and not smart enough for the Metro games .

He cleared $7m in cap space to overpay a goalie. Because his agent publicly said they wanted to reset the market. What was the rush to sign him in November? Why not wait for the season to play out? That only works because Schneider isn't signed for a bigger contract, so you can get away with paying somebody a little more on the 3rd pair. If Schneider was making more money, our bottom 3 (including 7th dman- Vaak, that's almost 9 million.
