I think the lineup we all just saw is the most likely lineup next season minus kreider. And man we are so close to just getting Miller and Fox back together. It's right there.

What is this coach's fascination with flipping wings to their non-natural side? GP is a RW and he's made the LW for his first pro game. This is like the prerequisite to development failure.

Lafreniere, Cuylle, Othmann, Perreault, Berard, Rempe, Edstrom. Maybe Laba and Sykora at some point next year. Lots of promising young forwards. Makes sense they added a veteran C in JT as they have not much to show for that position with the rest of the org. How deep is this years draft? Id think they would look to add a young C or 2 if they move Kreider/Panarin. I like the idea of Rossi. I also think Zegras will be a guy they would go after if he's available. Still need a significant add on D next year, but the forward group is far from a lost cause.
IIRC this draft kinda sucks but I'm not sure if that's just at the top end or considered weak all the way through

Management (a/k/a Dolan) is only happy WHEN they make the playoffs.....they deserve to miss this year because they haven't been a good team for some time -- and management has done little to nothing to correct this.

What do you mean by this? 2/3 ECFs by a bad team? Or just that they've been bad this year? And people may not like the moves that were made but management absolutely did try to make moves to correct the issues. They turned over half the roster in-season. Just look at the opening night lineup compared to now.

Man, if Drury can continue to reshape the defense this offseason we might be cooking again. Imagine that lineup with Brady Tkachuk and a true #2D and without Panarin.
