It wasn't commentary on resiliency, if Marc Staal suffered another concussion, he's at the number that starts affecting your ability to live a life after the NHL.

Exactly. The organization has a plan. They might not execute it perfectly, but they know what they are looking to do. Adding dead space in future years was not part of that plan while they are still a work in progress.
