Value of: Rossi to Flyers

I was half joking but teams don’t usually trade top 6 centers. Almost every team is looking for at least one. Rossi seems to be one of the only options out there. Maybe a team likes him enough to trade one of their C’s for Rossi but usually if a team has 2 top 6 centers they keep them unless a change of scenery trade is warranted
This why I think they will pull the trigger on a deal for a winger. Probably sign Nelson and then look to trade Rossi for Peterka or another similar level winger.

Noah Cates or Sean Couturier sound like your guys
Nah 3.gif

agreed. How do you feel about Hynes? I feel like he has favorites and Bogo could do no wrong with him
I liked that he was willing to change the lineup throughout the year when things were not working. Felt like he abandoned that in the playoffs.

I'm wondering if Guerin forced Hynes' hand with some players (Nyquist, Brazeau, Bogo). Personally, I thought Bogo was wayyyyy worse than Buium in the playoffs.

I hate that some players have such long leashes. When it comes to Bogo, it was all Hynes. When it comes to the others you mentioned, 100 percent Bill Guerin

There's probably some level of truth that there wasn't another RHD to play in place of Bogo once Jiricek lacerated his spleen. I was willing to play Merrill on the right side with Buium.

Vets have longer leashes because they’ve been through the failure before. The best way to ruin Buium would be to throw him on the 3rd pair with a statue and watch them get scorched.

agreed but then again there's political bs in wild club house. Even going into the playoff, Russo mentions he doesn't see Bogo getting Benched because he's loved too much in the Clubhouse. I just wish things could change with this politics bs we see on teams like Wild. Guerin came here saying he will change this, yet he hasn't. I just want this to change

Does either Sharangovich or Frost plus FLA ‘25 1st get a response from Minnesota if Conroy calls?

Alternatively, Andersson is clearly on the table, as is any roster player not named Coronato, Zary, Weegar, Wolf, Parekh.

Tippett was given a long-term contract and isn't that good. Every Philly fans want to dump his new contract, no thanks. Wild are just coming off cap hell, no reason for them to take on any long-term contract from another team, especially one of Tippett's/

No, not every Philly fan wants to get rid of Tippett...just some that post a lot on here. Rossi"s numbers were brutal after Kaprisov got hurt and he was playing on the 4th line come playoffs. We don't need another small forward so I don't believe the Flyers will have interest.

People need to stop posting this bullshit narrative. Rossi’s play dropped in March and is speculated to be because of several injuries he was dealing with. If you’ll notice, Kaprizov had basically been out for 2 months at that point (was back for a short 3 game stint in January).

If Philly are really interested they will need to trade Couturier
To me the better option is make an hockey trade with Colorado if they not resigning Nelson
An Hockey trade like that can make sence:
Couturier to Colorado (value down due to his contract and injury)
Colton and Wood (Wood more a cap dump and Colton a very versatile players

I think this can be a win win situation for both team

“Based on conversations with numerous NHL sources, the Philadelphia Flyers, Buffalo Sabres, Pittsburgh Penguins, Chicago Blackhawks, and Seattle Kraken have all expressed interest in acquiring Rossi.”
