Half his goals come on the PP where he gets to play with 29, 96, & 8 because everyone else on the team is a warm body. Once players start coming back into the fold, he'll be what he always was - a good top 9 guy who can fill in top 6 when needed.
Yeah over 19 minutes a night and 27% shooting won’t continue as the team gets healthier but he’s been good. Wouldn’t be surprised if he pops in 25 goals and of course a ton of hits this year and a bit of positional and up-and-down the line-up versatility.
For now he’s on the Paul Cotter/Stefan Noesen All-Stars team.

He’s a player I know lots of devils fans were hoping to trade for in this past off-season.
As long as he keeps this play up I think he holds line 1 pp1 over lehkonen and mittlestadt might lose his pp1 spot to nichushkin
I don’t watch all the avs games but I think what Colton is doing on line 1 pp1 is better than what lehkonen has done when he was there although the sample size is small. They are probably gonna ease nichushkin and lehkonen back in anyways.
