What does it take to get this done?

35OA + 38OA + Lindgren + Lehkonen

Sabres are weak at wing, where the Habs have depth. Lehkonen is likely to break out and has a great shot. They stockpile some early 2nds, and get a future stud G.

So 2 2nd rounders, a goalie prospect, and a forward that regressed hard this year? Sounds terrible.

This sucks for buffalo. Giving them a bottom 6 winger doesn't make their needs for a winger less pressing and Lindgren is worse than ullmark so they don't need him.

I don't think Buffalo should trade ROR, but if they do and it's to Montreal then I think Gallagher, Galchenyuk, or Price has to be in a package of some sort.

That means 40% retention, which is absurd. He's one of the most valuable players if he's under $7m.
True but if he was why would the team be at very last bottom team in the nhl? With a lot of great prospects this team isn't going nowhere! I know Forsure dahlin will be screwed over its already happening with ROR pretty much with Sabres like for ever! And goes with eichel

You're going a little off the rails here. Its a bad trade offer. That's it.

Are the Sabres looking to trade ROR after his comments and with Mittelstadt and Eichel down the middle, or are they expected to keep him?
Would Scherbak, Hudon and Lindgren be better?

Habs offer is insulting. They would to at least trade 2 of 4 options to get ROR:

3rd OA Pick
Drouin
Mete
Poehling

Sabres already have 1st & 32nd OA picks can add to their youth. They don't need the Habs 2nds for a player they traded for players equal to 2-1sts + 2-2nds.

Well the 3rd + is out of the question. So that leaves Drouin who isn't moving .Than we have Mete and Poehling . Guess your keeping ROR which is fine by us.
