The only way we could have lost this game and other games like this is to have inferior goaltending and that's what happened so nothing much to talk about here.
 
the team also thought they didnt have to play in all 3 zones to beat the flames. first half of the game was just horrendous defensive coverage from the forwards.
 
Rangers beat themselves. Sloppy all around.

The 4th line was good again. Diaz was good.
 
Normally I'd be okay with this as we were on a 5 game win streak and you can't keep it alive forever.

What sucks is that garbage GWG Hank let in. Also, St. Louis:

Any other time of the year, it would've just been whatever, can't win em all.

But there's 7 ****ing games left. And Hank gives up that abortion of a goal to Cammalleri, after KEVIN WESTGARTH, barely an NHL player, tied the ****ing game. Horrible.

MSL is crap. This is just not acceptable. Only the ****ing Rangers can get last year's Art Ross winner, and have him become neutralized completely.

Marty has been trash. How many nice set ups is he going to blow? Get him off the 1st line.
 
Bring on the people who said this team will go far in the playoffs after the win in Philly and now say they won't even make the playoffs. Yea, you know who you are.
 
It wasn't anyone in particular who was bad. Collectively, the passing was godawful. Zucc was especially terrible in that department.

Flames were giving the Rangers a TON of space and yet they constantly were making panicked passing decisions.

Rangers beat themselves. This was a game they could have gotten two very easy points from a Flames team that played horribly.

Hank was bad in this game as well. His rebound control was terrible.
 
I'd give Talbot the nod next game. Get the next one back and this game's a non issue. Playing teams with nothing to lose this late in the season scares me.
 
Defensive coverage was not good enough, especially on those 2nd and 4th goals. Rangers better play a complete game in Edmonton
 
ughh GWG wasnt even a good ****ing shot. just horrible goaltending. shot was like 5 inches to the side of the logo. U HAVE TO SAVE THAT.
 
the entire final 12 second in the 2nd period ended the game. Complete lack of effort to finish the period. It's been a while since the team ****ed up late game or late in a period. Everyone relaxed and let it slide. Need to learn to play the full 20, again, just like the start of the season. Ups and downs and ups and downs. **** games, good games.

I hope this one burns.
 
The all-world stud goaltender cost them a chance at making things a lot easier. Thanks Hank! Way to play that second period! Awesome job! Way to earn that contract!

As far as Martin Suck Louis, he ought to be a healthy scratch on Sunday night. He's just awful. Plain awful.

Since when did Calgary become an expansion team? It certainly seemed like the atmosphere in that building resembled the kindergarten classroom in Carolina.
 
What an obnoxious poll, come on. There were actually players who played well tonight. Boyle, Hagelin, Moore and Richards played pretty well tonight and Stepan was very good defensively.
 
What is this game 25 on the season that we lost because we got out-goaltended? Looks like he stopped playing on that 4th goal. He's a disgrace of a goalie sometimes.
