Well kind of yes and no. Vincent Lecavalier told his brother (Duclair's agent)that Torts would be the guy who can turn things around for Duclair. He was hesitant but Vinny ended up talking to him personally. I guess he was convinced since he turned down other offers to sign with Columbus.
