I guess I didn't realize the bar was that low in Carolina.

I hope the Canes achieve the ultimate goal of hanging that presidents trophy banner some day.

Everyone except your GM, I guess, who didn't do much do address these apparent holes?
Rod has as many playoff series wins against the Devils in the last decade than the Devils do as a team. Settle down.

One of hockey's biggest assholes. Had a tournament in Carolina and one of the younger age groups from my club played against his Junior Canes team, he repeatedly threatened to fight parents after the game and followed one into the parking lot to yell at him.

A match made in heaven for a horrendous owner like Dundon

I’m 100% sure this happened. Definitely a believable story that certainly wouldn’t make some kind of headlines if it happened.

Keefe may very well break this record next season. He has 99 games to win 64, or just about a .64 win %. This is in line with his career average, and in the terribly weak metro division, I say he does it. So this’ll likely be short-lived.

By my math Keefe’s win % is 60.8 (236 wins in 388 games). If he keeps that pace it would put him in the 493-494 games played range.

So he definitely has a very reasonable shot at it but will need to have a strong run with the Devils this year and next.

Congrats to Rod.

Where was Cooper on this list?

Just curious.

3rd, I believe, right behind Bruce.

Cooper got 300 in 500 games coached
Bruce got 300 in 496
Rod got 300 in 488

Ironically, that’s also likely going to be the list for Most Wins in their first 500.

Cooper got 300
Bruce got 301
Rod has 12 games left to get at least 2 wins, but will probably finish around 306-307?
