Can someone enlighten me with Laval's chance for playoffs/games left/etc.

I hate the AHL website and their weird and comicated formats.

Thank you.

They essentially need to win their final 7 games to get in. 5 teams get in in the North Division. The final spot is currently held by Cleveland who have 65 points in 63 gp. Laval has 64 pts in 65 gp.

So, Cleveland is one point up with 2 games in hand. The 2 teams have one game left against each other too. Obviously, a MUST win by Laval.

I would not be so quick to write off Norlinder. He may not have a place in Montreal but he could become an NHL player somewhere.

It's rare people mention their aren't expert when making such claims.

I personally think that he would have made the NHL team, if he didn't break his hand in one of the pre-season games.
He skates and carries himself like a player who is above the AHL. His shot is impressive.

Laval with a great job killing the penalties off. Primeau with some good saves. But Laval kept Rockford mostly on the outside.

And now Laval on the PP. Rockford caught with too many men.

And Heineman gets called for a penalty and cancels the PP. 4-on-4 hockey coming up.
