Protas has not worked with that line all season. It just hasn’t galvanized. And where are you gonna put Protas? 2nd line you don't mess with at all!
He has worked much better with Dubois and Wilson

What you put CMM with OV/Strome?Protas has not worked with that line all season. It just hasn’t galvanized.

That’s the issue. I don’t think anyone has worked with them which is why I was hoping at the deadline they would find someone. I would try Frank at this point for a bit. What you put CMM with OV/Strome?
Not true. Pre-Ovi injury it was just fine.Protas has not worked with that line all season. It just hasn’t galvanized.

Disagree. I take it you don't follow the rest of league too well. There are a lot of other teams/games where the shot counts are on the lower side than what they could be. More teams are emphasizing shot quality over shot quantity. There's nothing "unlucky" about being dominated in possession. These low shot count periods are a symptom of a problem that will be exposed in the playoffs.
While Frank has exceptional speed and some scoring touch, no way you just put him on a line with OV/Strome! At the NHL level, Frank should not playing higher than on the 3rd line. OV will draw the opponents top D paring, where Frank would to be too challenged to be effective. That’s the issue. No. He has produced much more work Dubois and Wilson. This isn’t my opinion. Not true. Pre-Ovi injury it was just fine.
So you keep forcing a combo that doesn’t work? While Frank has exceptional speed and some scoring touch, no way you just put him on a line with OV/Strome! I think using the word forcing is a wrong way to get your point across or prove something. You have to look at it from the coaching staffs point of view. Carbs puts these lines together with match-ups in mind against the Wings roster. No coach will get all the lines going in perfect order. We know Carbs will make adjustments as the game plays out.So you keep forcing a combo that doesn’t work?
Protas back with Dubois now.I think using the word forcing is a wrong way to get your point across or prove something. You have to look at it from the coaching staffs point of view. My pick also. Most Gordie Howe's.... Dale Hunter
expect the biggest goal in caps historyEller is so frustrating, great hockey sense, smart player. Zero ability to finish
Eller had a good offensive stretch for the Pens earlier in the season, but you have to remember the Pens play offense very aggressively while not being a good team defensively.Eller is so frustrating, great hockey sense, smart player. Zero ability to finish
He didn’t have a goalie to hit in the crest on that one LOLexpect the biggest goal in caps history![]()
