Shots are 10-2 Amerks but score still locked at 0-0 in Bridgeport. Edit - shots wind up 10-4 for the first and it's still zeros on the scoreboard.

Still no score but two plays stand out where an Amerk has come back like their life depends on it - both times Rousek coming back to disrupt an odd-man rush and then a break away.

Shots 31-12 in favor of the Amerks after 2. Still 0-0 though.

Taking notes from the Sabres last night.

They are facing ex-NHL starter Cory Schneider.
They made him look good. Seems like the system they are preaching organizationally needs constant reenfocement that sometimes there are teams that require getting into those high-danger areas and creating that greasy goal. Schneider would be happy to take those perimeter shots all day long.

It's pretty noticeable without Mersch in the lineup. He and his mini-sticks goals where he goes down to his knees and chokes up on his stick are something to see.

How was Kisakov looking? I only watch highlights and they are few and far in between(not really he had two goals in one game)

Stats telling the story?

Him with Kozak and Cederqvist have some moments but he looks like a first-year, small forward. He has a long way to go as do most of the kids. Often, it seems rookies start to figure it out in the 2nd half of the season and they're about to get to that. Hopefully he's one of them but right now, none of the kids look close.

Is the only information source for this a deleted tweet?
There's a PH tweet somewhere about not coming this weekend because 2 roads, but aside from that, no.

It makes sense though. Adams is a GM that tries hard to do right by guys, so he probably didn't stop trade attempts just because of waivers passing.
