I still wonder if they don't have Subban if he wasn't BFF with Tuch. Sometimes that stuff works in a team's favor.

He's still my favorite.

It is nuts how sharp Adams' scouts are, especially in the 1st round.

Quinn, Power, Rosen, Savoie, Ostlund, Kulich is...something else.
Power and Savoie were the only two of those that I don’t think brought any criticism too. I mean Savoie had the size thing but everyone recognized his game as being top of the draft worthy. People didn’t like the Quinn pick at all. I don’t think a lot of people even came to terms with the Rosen pick until recently. Ostlund was seen as a bit of a reach…but not egregious. Kulich pick probably better received than those three but there were definite ideas people liked better (not me…I’d have taken him at 16)

Players making the drafting department look smart in their post draft development.

Two good rush sequences there, first from Rosen, then from Rosek to get the puck into the Marlies' zone. They need some zone time, some shots. They look like they're trying to flee back to their own blueline and we know that doesn't work.
