More to the game of hockey than just point production. And Nylander isn't the kind of player who's only good for scoring and nothing else.
He was drafted to be a point producing forward. That's his role. What happens when an NHL forward goes a long stretch of games without any production? They're questioned. It shouldn't be any different for players in the minors in holding them accountable. The point was that "consistent" and "lighter month" shouldn't go together.

He's trying to bring more to the table but if we are going off reputation and past production alone...yes he's exactly the type of player who is only good for scoring.

Wilson had some jump in his step last night and threw a hit or two, he didn't look lost or hurt at all so that was about the only positive I took from it. Guhle wasn't bad (which is a surprise because he's been hot garbage all year), Simpson strikes me as a guy who could get Erod levels of love around here had he been Jack's linemate. It was really hard to find positives about this game lol.

Catching the free game today

Cj looks great in the first, set up a prime chance and a PP goal

Guhle is still a disaster, matched by Tennyson

Roch D is not good this game, Wedgewood has been good

Marlie took a moronic 5 minute major and basically sealed the game for Rochester.

Nylander made some reallllly nice plays to set up VO on the PP. CJ with another point just before that assisting Porter.

Only saw the third, strong game but that penalty was bozo territory.

for who? we aren't waiving anyone it seems
If we are in contention after west trip and the week after all star , some changes and decisions will inevitably be made... We already have four rookies on the team already.. two more? Im interested to see if our average age can be lower than a college team.. good times the next few years ... We played well against Tampa.. fascinated by the effort in Roc..

It wasn't the prettiest of games but they played start to finish and it paid off. Also helped that Wilkes-Barre lost a couple of defensemen to injuries. Nylander was absent for about 50 minutes of the game but made a game winning play. Good win!

How has O'Regan been lately? He's up to 13 goals, wondering if there is any hint there that he can be more than an AHL vet.

This is truly a road warrior team. Which sucks for me cause I wanna go to more games but they keep losing at home and winning on the road.
