Rathbone still the defense scratch, Helenius gets a line of his own, Kisakov stays in the lineup:

Utica opens the scoring as Brannstrom's passing is still just a bit off - he misses Clague leading to a breakaway (Clague takes a slash) that Levi stops but in the scramble after the stop, Utica has a man free in the slot to pound it home.

Clague passes to no one from the corner, then coughs up the puck from behind the net and it's 2-0. He's been terrible today.

Gruden throws Rosen backwards into the goalpost on Levi's right, Rosen is slow getting up, Levi seems okay. Shockingly, they noticed and called the interference penalty on Gruden.

Tie game! Gruden trips Clague, Helenius handles the puck through the neutral zone then delays inside the line to find Brannstrom coming late. Brannstrom buries it, tied.

Ooof, Seamus Casey shits himself with an unforced turnover right into Fiddler-Schultz who carries behind the net and feeds Ostlund in the mid slot... for his 15th goal. 3-2.

Dunne with a series of good defensive plays with the Utica net empty. He winds up feeding Wahlberg unselfishly for the ENG.

Wahlberg now has 10 goals, that one turns out to be the GWG as the Comets score with a few seconds left to make it 4-3.

The Amerks need bodies if they are looking at pulling up their top center even if a taste game might be in order. They have one healthy skater spare right now in Prow and that's not the best thing since I've thought his knee has been an issue for more than a year. Neuchev is shut down for the year, Tullio got lent out, and Nadeau/MacArthur are in Jacksonville.

Wait, I see this morning they recalled MacArthur to have a spare forward body.

By all accounts, Sardarian was a stud at Mich Tech. Why not offer him a contract? Get another body in Rochester?
