Thinking about going to an Amerks game over March break. Any tips from the Rochester faithful? I'd likely be going solo... Expecting the family to be worn out after a full day at the Museum of Play.

It's been too long since I've been in the War Memorial to be helpful there. I used to be able to park on Court St. on the bridge and walk to the Dino and over to the stadium but not sure that's viable any longer.

Sadly, Murray is still out.

Looks like Komarov just had his left knee tweaked in a board battle with Engaras. Both are struggling to get off the ice.

Houser has had way too much action through the first period. A very sleepy game for the Amerks thus far - shots are 10-3 for Utica with under a minute left in the first.

Staying at the Hampton Suites... looks to be a 20 min walk to BCA. Is the area safe enough to walk to/from the arena?

Mitchell Street B&G seems like a decent post-game option. I'm worried though. I went to the Swannie, loved it and then it closed 3 days later. Don't want to jinx anything in Roch.

Poulter again playing well against Rochester. Stones Jobst in tight on the PP, Amerks have had a bunch of quality chances in and around this powerplay.

They really miss Murray on the powerplay. They don't have that net front guy - unless they decide to call Nadeau up from Jax, they just don't really have a dedicated crease guy.

Man .. the cost of a 5 minute Uber in relation to safely walking downtown Rochester shouldn't even be a debate lol

Take a Uber.

Metsa hits the post flush and then the puck ricochets over Novikov's stick with the proverbial yawning cage. Amerks have outshot Utica 7-0 thus far in the 2nd but also had two PP's.

Never mind - first Utica shot of the period goes in. 1-0.

Somehow Poulter makes another save on Metsa off a sweet series of feeds. It's been all Amerks on the shot clock but of course they have given up the only goal of the period. Shots in the 2nd are 17-4 Rochester.

In OT - Rousek springs Rosen on a 2-on-1 to put him in on Poulter alone and Poulter stops him.

Then Houser stops Schmelzer on a breakaway just as the OT ends. Going to the shootout.
