Murray had a "fight" about 3 minutes prior to the brawl. Both linesman were in between them and Murray was throwing punches at his opponent's helmet.
I like the Hartford sportscaster (yelling: let them go boys, let them go! Murray throwing rights. Get out of the way!)

I'm going to go back and watch the replay. Sounds like some entertaining hockey. Wish the official hadn't gotten in the way of the goalies - just let 'em get it on and get out of the way.
Okay, I just started the replay and it looks like Berard may have speared Murray on the first shift - 18:56 remaining the first. Perhaps that's where the spice starts.
Then Mackey clubs Jobst in the face right after he scores the Amerks first goal. Okay, I can see where people are going to be getting very angry with the dinks in white.
So Lyshsyshsyshsysn hacked at Murray's arms a couple of times over the 2nd, then Belzille crosschecked Metsa into Sandstrom in a scrum just a few minutes before this all went off. Then they didn't have the camera on whatever happened where Metsa takes a shot perhaps after the whistle, at which point Murray double roughing his fists into the side of Mackey's head repeatedly. Mackey kept throwing when the linesman got in, so then Murray fed him about half a dozen right in retribution.
After Blidh scored, complete with jumping into the glass as though it meant something, the subsequent faceoff has Tullio on RW and he's offering to go with Berard - right in his ear. Berard wants none of it off the draw, but does decide to start crosschecking Slaggert in the Amerks' crease a few seconds later. That carries around behind the net where Berard is still crosschecking away, so Slaggert has enough... and it's on.
Granted, for the 2nd time, the in-rink feed has gone to dumb graphics for the scoreboard so we don't see it all start. THEN the Amerk feed dies... again.
Komarov threw some bombs on Berard who may have lit the fuse with the spear all the way back in the first.

Levi lets in a stinker, 3-2 Rochester.
Edit - bad penalty call on Clague, Utica ties it. Levi can't seem to find his crease. He's had help from a post and a crossbar so far tonight.

Novikov makes a nice move into the mid-slot and beats Daws to make it 7-3. Utica... eek.

He pulls these out ever now and again. The edge work is pretty nice, same stuff he was doing in the MHL in my opinion.
