Just still impressed with how they don't have any veteran passengers. The AHL-specific guys work their bag off. The NHL-depth signing guys work their bag off. Leone has them really bought in and it's so much more fun to watch than the Sabres.

Jobst has had success as the Amerks high slot/bumper guy for two years now. He finds ways to get to openings and they have solid plays from both the sidewall and below the goal line to get things out to him in a hurry.

Yep, seems like they have guys puking on the bench and not just from their play. I've low key liked his game for them this year - plays up to his size, get around the net and his skills aren't a problem, will win draws and throw hands when needed.

As sarcastic as my post seemed, I’m glad. He’s not really gonna draw into the next lineup, barring people unable to go, but it’s still a good thing. Lord knows the Sabres need some good will

If Lindy is out I hope it's not Appert. What has he shown to warrant it? Prospal has made the Amerks better than Appert did. Our PP has sucked in Buffalo all year. I just don't see why Appert deserves any consideration.

I do t think anybody thinks they should do this. It’s more a projection of what we fear.

Right, I think they need to clean out the execs and coaches. But I think we may just see more tinkering.
