Ryan Johnson just walked in and put one off the post. Still hasn't scored a professional goal but man, that was close.

Jax about to win in Greenville, continuing to push up in their division. I see Matt Savoie's brother Carter is back from the Liiga and playing in Greenville with ex Gopher captain Bryce Brodzinski.

And they get the road shutout, 3-0.

John Gruden of the Marlies gets the AHL All-Star coaching gig due to the Marlies having the best winning percentage in the North Division as of midnight last night.

Leone's Amerks are second in the North in winning percentage which for a rookie pro coach is pretty good. He's been so much more organized and structured than Appert's teams were IMO.

Not sure about this trade. I liked Poolman in preseason.

Seems like throwing Poolman a bone for not having the roster space to get him regular playing time and also it might prep them for a 2-for-1 forward trade that will impact their depth a bit. It's not like they aren't scratching a bunch of skaters every night and this just adds two more forwards.

hmmm.. how about bringing the other Joshua in the system. Shake it up.

The Amerks depth guys keep coming through - Fiddler-Schultz with his sixth, Warren with his seventh, Amerks up 2-0
