I'm gonna toot my own horn here for a bit.

If you go through my post history, a fairly decent amount of the new I've passed along has come to fruition.

Lehner: Says they tried to get a longer term deal done, but is happy with the 3 year deal. He wants to be in OTT for a long time.

The Lehner signing was kind of a sure thing, did you predict term/money or something?

Anderson is the 23th most paid goalie, and Lehner will be the 33th. On average, 56/60. CHEAP goaltending, and they can be good with a "normally" efficient system

I am surprised we got the first year at only $1.5m. I expected 2, 2.5 and 3 over three years. I am glad to see the Senators start signing their players and hope Ryan, MacArthur, Methot and Anderson sign extensions by the end of summer.

Fair contract for Lehner. He gets good value for what he's shown, the team gets a bridge deal without him being a ufa by the end.

Everybody wins. Now its up to Lehner

Finally now lets hope Murray doesn't continue to say his repetitive line of competitive and will give the kids a chance to play and that starts with Lehner, Anderson had his time, but he is aging big time and will not be the same player he once was

How about we let his play dictate that first before stating it as fact? Competition is always a good thing.

Like this for the team. Lehner should be our #1 by this time next year.

I'm tired of hiring this line, Lehner needs to be our starter now, put Anderson on the bench, he had his time and is in the declining phase of his career now

Why do you think so? In my eyes Anderson is still #1 on this team.

I would prefer to trade anderson and weirchoich to the blues for Shattenkirk. Then we can just sign some backup goalie.
