Hey - Suzuki got one so it’s time to shed light on the other 25 year-old center who has arrived as a full-blown superstar and top 10 type center in this league. Like Suzuki, he’s locked up into a ridiculous contract.

4 assists through less than 2 periods tonight against the Avs in a huge game.

Since February 1st he has 39 points in 26 games as he drives the Blues resurgence. That’s top 5 production in the NHL, up there with Kucherov, Drai, MacK and Crosby.

He’s at 75 points in 66 games (and counting) with a +18. He plays 20+ minutes a night. He’s a 55% face-off man and is one of the top penalty killers on the team. His playmaking and play driving is unreal. Absolutely a superstar playmaker. Like Suzuki he is the engine, the sun, the moon - of his team’s offense.

Any list that doesn’t have him in the top 10 or higher of NHL centers at this point is simply behind the curve. Stud.

Big fan of Thomas right now since I have him on my fantasy team and he's been in fire the last month.

I guess "superstar" is subjective and everyone has their own standards but I'd have him in the "star" category until he can put up 100 points in a season.

Fair - but by any statistical measure he has absolutely been a superstar the last couple of months. And it’s not like it came out of nowhere - he’s always been a sublime talent. The real beauty is his all-around contributions though and how he performs while carrying the 200’ and PK load he has. It gives me confidence that while being a top 5 scorer in the entire league may not be his true level (although I think top 5 playmaker might be), being simply one of the best centers in the game and a true franchise level pivot, is.

Thomas is definitely in need of more attention. Glad to see him getting some love. He's as steady as they come and has become one of the best all-around players in the NHL. What Thomas and the Blues in general have been doing is very impressive

Should have been at the Four Nations and he needs serious consideration for the next Olympics.
His stock has been tainted by something outside of his control.

I love the kid. He needs more love from Hockey Canada - they also need to clear kids (like Thomas) NOT involved in the ugliness.
