Haven’t made a GDT but thought for Rayzor it would be appropriate that I make this one with my screen name.

Hopefully the Sabres show half the fight Rob did during his time here in Buffalo.

Congratulations Rob Ray on an honor well deserved!!

Checked the standings to see if they can make things interesting by March, and it's laughable how far back they are. It appears they dug the hole so deep, that they can't even get a meaningful game in March this year. Geez. Epic failure from top-to-bottom.

Can I just say, inducting a player to your teams 'hall of fame' who was more of a sideshow than an actual contributor to the team isn't a great look for a franchise that fighting for credibility. Ray did great stuff off the ice and was a good fighter.

But bringing him into your hall of fame just shows incredibly low standards.

Loyalty, communication. Terry values that above goals and ships (except his own .)

There are several members of the Sabres Hall of Fame who never skated for the team. Examples: Rip Simonick, Frank Christie. Several Broadcasters. Bob Rich Jr., others.
Dated list linked. And after a gap of several years (was a topic on these boards in the past) Three since then - Hasek, Miller, and now Ray.

Heck, I'm not so sure I'd have an issue if they put that now-deceased elderly woman in who was a STH beginning with the Bisons and continuing through the Sabres at the Aud and then at KBC, something like 60 years.

This isn't a jersey retirement ...

The standard has nothing to do with points or All Star Games...

This is just bitching to bitch.

RJ is the Sabres HoF too. He didn't score a single point!

Woof.

He's a beloved broadcaster and community asset who has been with the organization for 30 years. He's 4th all-time in games played here with 889.

What an absolute dog of a take.
