We are more concerned about the stupid rule changes like the extra inNing ghost runner, pitch clock, universal DH and all the other crap he came up with. Maybe he should listen to the fans about those

There is no way the majority of fans don’t like the pitch clock.

Also that’s the most thinly veiled way of advocating for the owners via pinning the idea on “the fans” by Manfred.

I’d call it slimy but it’s too obvious a rouse.

All those rules are great tbh. Been a fan of the game my entire life and I love the changes. It's a 162 game season man. Gotta speed these games up.

I want a home run derby to decide tie games :)

As a jays fan, no rule change is going to make Shapiro and Atkins not suck at their jobs, so that’s that.

Only 7 have failed to do so since 2000 and through mismanagement, not payroll shortcomings

And until the structure forces those teams to at least try there's going to remain a distinct tier of teams that are there just to fill out a schedule.

The problem is more with owners like Robert Nutting of the Pirates than it is the Dodgers. A cap comes with a floor and the floor is more necessary than even the cap is. A floor is necessary to get owners like Nutting to do anything but pocket a shit-ton of money and isolate himself from the public as the current set-up incentivizes him to do.
