Good thing we gave Rob Blake a job where he has to make a ton of phone calls, because his last few years as a King all he did was PHONE IT IN.

His number retirement ceremony is going to sound a lot like Robitaille's did, except the fans won't be saying "Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuc". It'll be another word that sounds like Luc.

At best the fans will be polite.

I'll be there since I am an STH and I will probably throw up watching it.

It's a bad idea. So would be a legends night with him. Interesting we haven't seen one yet, eh?

He's the only Kings defenseman to capture a Norris Trophy and spent 14 seasons with the team and holds every Kings record as a defenseman with 161 goals, 333 assists, 494 points in 805 games (also a Kings dman record).

It's hard to ignore numbers like that all under a Kings uniform. Despite the way his departure played out (and you can't pin that entirely on him), no Kings fan could deny the impact he had on the team when he was with the team.

Looks the same.

Man he seems like he has no idea of what to do. It's all learning. That's no bueno
