Yeh you watch a lot of Nurse games to call out that ignorance? Nurse is a good D-man with a bad reputation. Better D-man than anything the Hawks have in the line up these days. Although that’s not a high bar.

Traded Walker while being in the race last year.

Is that what he meant about ignorant comments? That Nurse has actually played well this year? Geez.

Risto has been playing very well all season and teams have noticed, that's why Danny has been getting all the calls about him. Price has gone up sports fans.

If you mean the prices has gone up from untradeable to hey, this guy has some value, I agree.

I don't see teams lining up to move first round picks for him though.

If the Oilers are required to deal 1st rounders and whatever few prospects they have they will be hunting for bigger fish than Risto.

After Provorov, Pettersson are gone and I doubt Gavrikov will be available.. you may see teams line up. A former1st round pick or 2025 1st round pick is not out of the question for a player like Risto at the deadline.

What bigger fish? lol who will be available? You think Orlov, Chychrun Ekbald Pionk will be available?

Or you may see very little interest in him at all.

There’s no positive to keeping Risto. Flyers should be trading off assets and not holding onto players like Risto.
Risto does not hurt our team right now. He is playing well this season... He was playing well last season too before he got injured. We need our goalies to continue to play well and we need Tippett/Farabee/Frost to step up their game, same goes for Laughton.

Line up, with retention for a mid round pick, because GM's know he's a gamble. Risto has been negative value for years. He's had three months of not sucking, that doesn't erase that negative value. It may mean he doesn't have negative value anymore, but he isn't worth anything close to a first round pick. Not even with major retention.

Almost every year somebody overpays. Usually for defensive defenseman. He might not be worth it, but Flyers doesn't have to sell him for less. He is worth his contract and he doesn't hurt the team. If his current form stays as it is now, his worth increases as his term decreases and cap increases. So if the price is too steep, look elsewhere.

He should be traded. Tippett should be traded. Laughton should be traded.

I really hope we do. I hope you aren't referring to Ristolainen as a defensive defenseman though.

Huge DOUBT that he's turned it around and is having a "good" year. Good years don't include performances like this. Imagine if he pulls one of these games in the playoffs, he could tank a run singlehandedly.

Huge DOUBT you've actually watched a game of hockey this season or last.
