One of the most knowledgeable, witty guys to post on these boards. I remember him fondly from the White Noise days. And I remember that he was always a fearless champion of our team and our fans, particularly when we were taking a bruising from the hockey world between 2010-13

I didn't know you personally, but I shared your passion, and for that I feel sadness. Rest in peace.

That is quite the shocker. Will miss debating with him. This came out of complete nowhere. RIP

Wow :( RIP, easily one of the most knowledgeable people around these forums, lost a good one way too young.

This one just blindsided me. Ugh. So, so sad. Always such a great and genuine guy, had several awesome interactions with him. I will miss him very much around here. Fantastic mod and an even better person.

HF now has had 2 huge losses this summer. Him and Octopi.

RIP :(

Lousy news. Was always one of the most interesting, rational posters on here. Will be missed here.

Knew he was in a wheelchair from some things he said years and years ago here but didn't know the reason. Sounds from the obit like he was surrounded by great people and made the most of a tough hand ... condolences to his family and friends.

This news actually doesn't even feel real.I always respected his posts from the main board. It will be weird not seeing his posts anymore. This is terrible news.

Oh man this one hits hard....

Haven't posted in a while here but this is really sad news indeed. All my respect to Parabola during his time moderating these boards and condolences to his family.

This is very sad. Para was a really nice poster and mod. I am sure that was a reflection of the person he was IRL.

God bless you Parabola.

My condolences to his family, RIP.

Never interacted with him, but he seemed like a great guy to know.

So sad. Parabola was a pleasure to work with and a pleasure just to know as a person. Rest peacefully, friend.

Hadn't spoken to him much, but when I did, he was the kind of guy you wanted on these boards. Seemed like a really stand up guy.

Terribly sad at that age... I can't even imagine. Thoughts and prayers to his loved ones.

One of my favorite mods. He always brought happiness and cheer wherever he posted. I'm sure he brightened many people's lives on here. Will be missed. RIP brother!
