Nobody could stop Shaq back then but Mutombo did as good a job as anyone could possibly do.

One and only NBA game i played, was NBA 98. Dikembe Mutombo was my favorite player.

When I was a kid watching the 90s, Dikembe Mutombo was one of my favorites. By all accounts, he was even bigger a person, a philanthropist, and humanitarian than he ever was as a player (and Dikembe as a player was already huge, a deserving HOFer).

The world is so much less without him. May he rest in peace, paradise, and power.
