Isles fan coming in peace, I've posted in here a few times before. Brodeur is my favorite player of all time and the Devils are always a team I root for in the playoffs when the Isles are out.

With that said, I didn't want anyone to think I was trolling, don't let the skating off on his own power say too much. I'm watching the game and saw it happen. Not to be negative, just realistic, but I play goalie. I had an injury, mine was non-contact, and I was able to skate off on my own and stretch out the leg. I had a grade 2 MCL tear and was out about 6 weeks.

Now obviously he's a pro-athlete, so his conditioning is better, but just didn't want anyone getting a false sense of security for him skating off. Knee injuries are odd and it looked awkward.

Hoping for the best though. Maybe Daws can come up and get hot if Markstrom is out for a bit? But hope the scans come back clear and he's only out a couple of games.

Despite the HF Boards unwritten rules people have told me where I can only like one team, I don't follow that. Growing up as a goalie who loved Marty and as a kid had an awesome experience meeting him, Scott Stevens, and Lou at the time, I'll always have a spot for the Devils.
