Alzner was 29 when we signed him. Ceci will be 32 next year.

32 is very old for a low skill guy like Ceci.

Obviously, your expectations for the Red we would add are too high. A D that can play a physical, more defensive game is all we need for Hutson.

The example of Alzner serves the point. When asking of Alzner to drive the play on a pairing, you are greatly disappointed.

Same with Ceci, but playing alongside Hutson, he can do the job required of him.

Nothing to lose with Boqvist. Doesn't work out he's on a cheap contract. He's young and mobile maybe he just needs to be in the right system. Also a smart idea if you have more D go down to add depth. Players in Laval need more time to develop.​
