Ottawa’s no strangers to empty net drama. Here’s Brady spazzing out.
Anyone who has a problem with it better never complain about lack of toughness or lack of a response ever again.
I loved it.10000000000%
Good on him, that’s what I want to see. Bush league loser team, embarrassing display.
So you think that the better decision would have been to drop the gloves and repeatedly punch Grieg in the back of the helmet while his knuckles took a beating? Grieg had plenty of time to square up and face Mo but he chose only to brace himself for the hit that was coming. Yes that would have made Mo look silly. He did the right thing. Have you ever been in the Leafs dressing room right after a big HNIC game ended and talked to a player involved in a similar situation? I have. You're trying to tell me that if Rielly dropped the gloves and Grieg turtled, Mo would have looked silly?? You got that backwards my man
And very good hockey players need to play with that dumb and irresponsible edge sometimesIt was dumb and irresponsible.
I am more than happy with the response. He get suspended, he gets suspended.
We played without him when he was injured.
But a message has to be sent, more to the internal leafs than to the Sens. What is acceptable and what isn't.
Lmao the main board thread for this has 2000+ posts and will be 3k by the end of the day. Hating on the Leafs is half the reason these fans watch hockey.
Bertuzzi just floats around out there thinking about ways he's going to spend his 5.5 million dollar paycheck. He's never really bought in. Same with a few others. Been a lackluster year for these players. Could have given way more. Cost us points.Very few players on the Leafs care. That's the problem

I like our mods. They actually are not biased and fair, we are fortunate. They're obsessed. It's even funnier with some of the "mods" (not from this board) frequenting the thread.
Kapanen used to hate losing. Was sad to see him go (and his career dry up). There is no sense of team here. There is the top 4 who make half the cap, and then everyone else. It sucks. Rielly, maybe Domi, and Reaves really care and hate losing.
I agree! He truly is the heart and soul of this team! It shows how inept this front office is, that he has never been given the C on his sweater!Of course I'm happy, we have at least one player that's not a cupcake. It's not much, but it's better than nothing.
Rielly's a great player and a great teammate, he's the kind you win with. If it doesn't happen here, I hope he can pull a Bourque and win a cup somewhere else before he's done.
Agreed but it wasn't a cross check to the head and Greig wasn't unsuspecting. It was a one armed stick shove that rode into the helmet and Greig knew what he signed up for with ample time. There is absolutely nothing tough about cross checking an unsuspecting player in the head.
f*** me. Only just found out there's a thread about Matt Grzelcyk spearing Paccioretty. It's on page 3.![]()
