Right or wrong, I think the league distinguishes between incidents that occur during play versus those that occur after whistles. Gallagher almost decapitated Pelech with an elbow a few weeks ago and he only got 5 games.

It's not really a matter of whether "regular posters" value what a mod says more/less. As mods of the site there's a certain code of conduct they should be following. When the majority of them flaunt their bias on the mainboard (not just about this) it makes the mod team and entire website look bad.

If mods are too immature to be objective and gaslight the fans they disagree with they shouldn't volunteer to do it. I'd wager a number of posters on HF will never pay for a subscription simply because of how poorly the website is moderated.

Hockey media in Canada has become insufferable. They beat the same drum into oblivion on every topic no matter how big or small, but they love to sensationalize a negative story.

IMO it's a clear reflection of how poor sports journalism in Canada is right now. It's doesn't require much talent to continually talk about the same topics over and over again, especially if they'll garner negative attention.

I can't remember the last time I seen an interesting feature or promo.

Yup, I was kinda annoyed our game had a 2 day break in between it

You can only talk about the play so much before it morphs into something else entirely

You need to Trump it. Spam those cross checks

Make it price at the end of each game for the biggest rat of the game. They won't report about all cross checks. It's the fact that this was first and possibly the last in this decade that has their blood boiling :D

Fair - but where were the Chaisson (Vesey) and Edmundson (Simmonds) suspensions? One was after the buzzer and the other was nowhere near the play purely in retaliation. Both were after/out of the play cross checks to the face with only a fine. Both against the Leafs

Yeah it's not a secret to anyone. He's getting a bunch of games and all the game day vids with Leafs players and Keefe they know he's not going to be there.

We're just waiting to see how big Perros goes here.
