I was in favor of dipping into the goalie UFA market. But that's all but dried up now. If they don't re-sign Andersen they probably have to trade for a new goalie.

Problem is everyone that's been mentioned as a possible replacement is just as injured, worse, or both (Gibson) and the goalie market is at this point absolutely barren outside of trades. And from what I've seen Anaheim is still asking for the kind of return Boston got for Ullmark despite him being a hot mess the past half decade.

Not sure about Burns. I think that some here are far too hard on him, but I do think he's still valuable in a more limited role. The question will be whether there will be room for him if we make a big move for somebody better on the top pair, which I think we should do.
