Rick Nash

This could go down as one of the best trades in this franchises history. I was originally on the IDK if I want him for THAT price at first, but man this guy is 100x better than expected. Here in NY it seems like he is actually making players around him better. So happy to have Rick here.

Rick Nash is one dimensional. Only scores in the 3rd period when we need it most.

Well, after a slow-ish start for Nash during which most of us got on him, myself included, and a slower start for the team, during which a lot of us acknowledged that Nash has been great but perhaps not worth the price paid, I think it is becoming pretty undeniable that Nash is the most dynamic, dominant and exciting player we've had in a long time. Perhaps not on the level that Jagr was right after the lockout, but also a bit more exciting for me right now, because of his age.

He's still fat, lazy, overrated, bad defensively, overpaid, and a choker.

In all seriousness, though, he adds a different dimension to this team. He can take over games.

Every game Rick Nash does something that reminds me of why I watch hockey.

He needs more help.

I disagree. Nash is a puck carrying, puck possession player. He's most effective when the puck is on his stick. Hagelin and Stepan are perfect linemates for him. They do a great job of just getting the puck on his stick, Stepan in particular.

Unless you meant that the rest of his teammates need to start scoring, that I agree with.
