Of the 3 goalies, Hellebuyck had, by far, the best career. Murray won a Cup but is no longer in the NHL. Gibson still plays but is mediocre at best.

The D-Men had (very) good careers but none were great. Ranking their careers is tough - from best to worst...

Reilly - his career has been remarkably productive and injury free
Ekblad
Trouba
Parayko
Jones
Gostisbehere
Murray

The forwards had better careers with only Drouin (and maybe Saad) looking out of place...

McDavid
MacKinnon
Matthews
Eichel
Gaudreau
Scheifele
Larkin
Miller
Trocheck
RNH
Couturier
Saad
Druoin

In hindsight, who did they miss?

Just think - Jaromir Jagr had like 700 career points before some of these young guns were even born...and he was still playing in the NHL when the 2016 World Cup was going on (his last full season of NHL play).

And now…some of these “young guns” are in their 30’s…and Jagr is still playing professional hockey.

Wild. :D
