- Price had to be a god for us to be decent.
- Weber was still a solid D even though he was slow during our finals run.
- Habs have one of the youngest cores in the NHL.
- Habs unloaded the fewvveterans that had value ( Toffoli / Lekhonen / Chiarot)
- Habs are icing 4-5 rookie D a night.

I can go on and on....It's not the coach , we're rebuilding , this is the predictable outcome.

As the season progresses points matter more and teams know to watch for Suzuki/Caufield and Dach to a lesser extent.

I have no issues with coaching this year and never said I did. I said the primary reason the Habs finished last place last year was due to coaching. Yes the team that started the season last year was bad but Ducharme really sunk it like the Titanic.

The lockout happened in 04/05 so no one played but they would most likely would have been last or 2nd last. In 05/06 even with Crosby, they still ended up 2nd last. It was only in 06/07 that they finally progressed.

What about the previous 57 minutes ? Did he try to prevent the shutout then as well? Apparently by the shots generated and the lackluster play. This team isn't playing hard for him at all, it looks like he doesn't care one bit behind that bench, zero emotion shown. I mean to suddenly care about the shutout with 3 min to go and not the entire game seems comical, like that means anything at the end of the day lol. You are probably right though, that's MSL's mentality right there. 'we may lose 10 of our last 11, but the we can't let them get a shutout'

Kraken: second year of an expansion team, plays competent hockey

Habs: 114 years of history, expansion jersey, worse than expansion roster

Better coached, more structure, and with a garbage team as well. Good on them
