Maybe they thought someone else might opt out, so it was like a, "you're not getting the call yet, but be ready in case you do get the call"no Raddysh, in an interview his brother, a RHD in NYR system, who may be included, mentioned both were told to be ready
Actually forgetting a player and adding them back on later is a REAL bad look for a GM who might already be on the hot seat. Yikes.
Avs roster
Here's a little wrinkle for the HabsHabs roster
Formation des Canadiens en vue du camp d'entraînement
Includes Alexander Romanov (Though he cannot actually play)
This is a great exercise in seeing organizational depth, and it appears to me that the Avs might have the deepest roster in the league. If Wilson & Kaut were there they could ice 6 legit NHL forward lines and 4 defensive pairings. I really like their chances now that they are fully healthy and rested. Before anyone asks, no Kaut because if he plays 1 more game, he burns a year off his ELC. So not gonna bother having him fly back overseas just to have him practice a little.
And the mystery around Wilson continues. Still injured, declined to play (pending UFA), or just not invited, who knows.
My favourite posts to do every year are the training camp ones, so this year I actually get to do two! hahaA requisite bless you Caley, this thread is always the awesomenest!
