I'm late, but this is extremely terrible news and another Sabres-related gut punch. I send my prayers to all who knew him, starting with his fellow posters on here.
Many mentioned his OT posts where his personality and life experiences shone through, but for me it's his hockey insight that will be missed most of all. He had a firm and nuanced grasp of the game, especially evident in his breakdowns of lower and ancillary leagues and their players. One of a select core on here who possess such acumen. He'll be missed. Rest well, ONG.
