Hi Bruins fans, Sens fan, coming in peace.

Just wanted to thank your team and your fans for an AMAZING series. To Bruins fans, you guys are amazing. I've always really liked the Bruins and their fans. There was no coming into our forum or our GDTs badmouthing us or spreading **** , you were all respectful, which is a lot more than I know I could say had we played Toronto.

It was a close, hard-fought series. Despite missing 2 of your Dmen all series, your guys fought hard, but clean, and your young players REALLY impressed me. I think the future looks very, very bright for the Bruins. Your team never gave up (as certainly was evidenced in Game 5), and it took everything the Senators have to win this series.

I know it hurts, and I hope this post doesn't feel like rubbing salt in the wound (its not intended that way at all), but major respect to the Bruins and their fans for a great, respectful series. I'd love to play you guys in the playoffs anytime. :)

Thanks, Sens fan. Honestly, this is one of the most fun series I have seen since 2011. The fans on both sides have been awesome ( except the moron Bruins fans throwing crap on the ice, knock it off)

Watch out for us next year when we get healthy and some of our kids mature, but good luck this year,

It sucks to lose, but you guys should be proud of your banged up team, lots of determination and spirit. Tuuka is one of the best goalies in the business. I have gained a lot of respect for the Bruins, future looks good.

Damn right, you guys will be a force to be reckoned with next year, even more than you were this year. I hope you all will be cheering us on for the rest of the playoffs, no matter how long that may be. I know that, roles reversed, I'd be rooting for you guys against New York. :)

Let me say thanks.

Moreso thanks for the sportsmanship. I encourage my fellow Mods to pipe in here too.
Ive been on this board near 20 years. Modding through many a series.

I have had to intercede or act a miniscule amount of times over the past couple of weeks.
The Sens fans have been nothing short of the definition of good sportsman.

I dont write this lightly. Im not known for my complimenting of the foes. But whats right is right.

Thank you.

To the Sens fans good luck against New York.

It was a strange series where the road team won 5 of the 6 games and 4 games went to OT.

I am also aware that a nice run by your team will help the new downtown arena a reality as Kanata is just a bad location for an arena.

Thanks Sens fans- I hate that you all won, but it was a tough, hard-fought series. Could have gone the other way so easily. Now go on and beat the Rangers (my 3rd most hated team behind Habs and Leafs).

I don't like losing. I don't like my team being eliminated. I especially don't like the team that eliminates my team. But I respect respectful fans ... may all Ottawa fans find joy in cheering for your team the remainder of these playoffs.

Thanks for the well wishes. :) Yeah, it was an odd series. Home ice advantage, my ***. LOL I never thought in a million years that we would win all 3 in Boston.

Thanks, guys. It was a good series, it took way too long for us to face you.

Karlsson is unreal.

Agreed, here's hoping its the first of many series we play against each other. I was worried going into the series that there would be bad blood between the fanbases, and I would have hated that, as I've always respected you guys and your team. The Bruins, Preds and Hawks have always been my favourite American teams.

And that McEvoy kid... wow. Even as high as he was drafted, he looks like he should have went higher. I think you have a gem there.

We'll do our best, thanks! :)

Oh, and one other thing I have to say about your fanbase... A lot of other fanbases would complain and make excuses because of the penalty calls that went against you, and the fact that you were missing TWO top 4 D, but not you guys. Class, all the way.

I always have the Tanner from the Bad News Bears response to these kinds of posts but not this year. You guys have a good group over there and best of luck the rest of the way.

Seems like we've only played the Habs the past couple seasons. Made me forget that other fanbases can have some class. The main board threads were quite pleasant compared to what we're used to.

ps. **** the Habs.

Kind words and Thank You and Good Luck!

I went to all 3 games at the Canadian Tire Center and despite myself and my family wearing are Bruins colors proudly and cheering every chance we got the fans in Ottawa were extremely Classy and respectful!!!

We even ran into a couple of your top prospects Nick Paul and Andreas Englund and shared a nice laugh.

I hated that some Boston fans threw stuff on the ice (twice) and that one moron grabbed a stick, but he got rightfully schooled by Karlsson. Not a fan of Coach Boucher and his style of play, but the Senators deserve to advance. Tip o' the cap to Senators fans and your team.

Good luck to the Sens fans I have no issue with them,

I have zero respect for the players on the ice, floppers and cheat shot artists.

Stopped reading there.
That was the worst hockey I've ever seen in the playoffs.

Hey, lose the chip off of your shoulder. The Ottawa fan made a classy post, no need to be rude to them. Ottawa fans are the classiest fans of all in the NHL. If you visited out there likemy family did and wore Bruins T-shirts- they literally go out of their way to chat hockey with you and are fun and respectful people. Because of several of them, we found out we could take a self guided tour through their building during the off season (for FREE!!!!) and they let us know all about the rookie camp going on a couple of miles away and gave us directions.

Fans at the rookie camp were wonderful there as well! We all remember seeing Cece being a little hard nosed punk back then, and thanks to those gracious fans, we have a memory my family and I won't forget.

These fans don't deserve rudeness or sarcasm.

Congrats to all the Bruins fans, it was a great series unfortunately one team has to win. Love the way the Bruins battle through so much adversity especially those delay of game penalties but you guys hung in there & looked great in the 3rd & we were lucky to take it to overtime. All the best for next season, you have some pretty good young players coming as well. :handclap:

I always knew Karlsson was elite, but WOW! And Burns struggled in his series. I'm pulling for the Sens in the East now. I've always liked MacArthur.
