I get we are all emotional at this point... but do you really think with Sundin as the Captain, that Matthews would play like he does now? The only Leafs game I've ever been to in Toronto had Belfour in goal. He stood on his head but the Leafs got shut out by Colorado, I think 3-0? 3-0 or 4-0.

People remember Gunnarson in the Blues. When he was in Toronto he wasnt very good

He was pretty much the only thing that kept Phaneuf from looking like a total disaster defensively. He looked a lot better with the Blues because he had a competent partner.
