Watch that replay. Im dead serious
Then exactly how do you think a slam to the jaw is more dangerous than a slam to the back into boards and back of the neck?

Which is more likely to lead to a serious injury that has damage on a healthy players career?

Always thought he’d be best served spending most of the year there and trying to make a real hockey player out of him.

the NHL needs to remove these types of players from the league IMO. Rempe intentionally tries to injure players and he targets the head, just because your tall the other player is shorter it does not mean you can target the head.

this guy needs to go the way of Raffi Torres and quick!

8 games is an absolute joke.

it is blatantly obvious. Repeat offender, guy has no respect for the game.
8 games is a joke indeed. Should have been 2 minute minor at most

He’s going to get into a fight, not throw a punch and body slam a guy then act like he won the fight? Guy won less fights then Kurtis Gabriel and Auston Watson combined.

He's team will be told there will be repercussions if he's on their roster.

He has the tools.

He was a decent enough WHL player. He's actually a center and still plays center when he's on Hartford. For most of his life he was a legitimate hockey prospect. His underlying numbers, albeit in a small sample, grade him out as an NHL 4th liner.

Somebody noticed his height and got in his ear that he needs to be a sociopath to make it.

There's a grain of truth there. His value as an NHL player is going to be in physical play and annoyance.

But he has to control himself. He might stick around as a troll who can take a shift. He's not gonna stick around doing this. It hurts his own team. The league has made it clear they're not going to tolerate it. People can disagree with the suspensions all they want, but you can't say you don't understand why they're doing it.

I hope he gets it through his head because I think he's probably an NHL player. I don't really have high hopes. It was too much notoriety too fast and now the kid thinks he's Rambo. His cult amongst Rangers fans doesn't help matters.

In that sense, it might be best to lay low in Hartford for a year.
