The Unger to do well; the Payne of being wrong

Looks like Al Secord never made it to 40 assists.

Lol, took a while, but I managed to get a 1 on this one... :D

Why is Hutton such a popular pick? :skeptic:

Just the right amount of overthinking... that Sens/20+ playoff points one took a while... I was like........ Gonchar? Bondra? Gomez? Gaborik? Stepan? All too obvious? Smolinski? Schaefer? Not sure if they got enough points... Then landed on Cheechoo after a while, remembered he was playing in the playoffs in '02, so I figured he got enough :towel:

Got best game (for now) as well!

Oh, I guess I forgot yesterday's, and the Doku Jr:

For this one, I confused Vaclav Nedorost with someone else who I am sure played for CAR and COL, was a high draft pick, and I think had a name starting with N... not Nestrasil, he didn't play for COL...

The other miss was Ryan Craig, who played 11 playoff games in his first 2 seasons, both with Tampa... could have fooled me! :eyeroll:

Can't remember what I messed up here, but I do know when I first played this, Reinhart was 10% and Oddleifson was 3%!

2 is a good score, but when it all comes from one player? Dangit, Aberg! :ha:

Haha, another one where thinking long and hard paid off! I was really struggling on the team Sweden square, knowing full well that Lidstrom and Zetterberg would work (and Alfredsson, of course), but be really high %, and that Franzen and Samuelsson would not, but I was SURE there was another Swedish one-time Red Wing that had those numbers... Tomas Sandstrom, my guy!

I did enjoy the Zelepukin anecdote that Bill Guerin told during his Spittin Chiclets podcast. Guerin had a contract dispute with the Devils and demanded a trade. He eventually signed but was traded a couple months later; Guerin and Zelepukin were sent to Edmonton for Jason Arnott and Bryan Muir.

Zelepukin didn't talk much in general and was quietly sitting next to Guerin on the flight to Edmonton. When they landed Zelepukin angrily said something like "Dammit Billy, you had to ask for a trade....."

Don't know which is more frustrating, one percent or no picture of Delmore.

I'm genuinely surprised by the percentage on Somik. One percent for a fourth liner who was briefly in the NHL?

Puckdoku is getting popular enough now that superfans are all jumping on it and average fans are getting better at it. So there's lots of instances now where an obvious choice is a low percentage, where as a bunch of toughie answers end up with a higher percentage.

You're Philly goalie is a perfect example. No way should players like Nittymaki (or Pelle Lindbergh??) be picked more than Emery or Bobrovski. But players now know to avoid big names.

I swear a couple weeks ago, early in the day, Partick Roy wasn't the #1 pick for a MTL/COL square. And today for TOR/1-playoff-game, Morgan Rielly has the same number of votes as Nokolai Borchevsky or Lonny Bohonos.

This was fun to play. I thought Schultz would be a little lower percentage but the Broad Street Bullies were pretty popular.

I was a fan of Jeff Farkas when he was in college. He made his NHL debut in the playoffs for Toronto against the Devils and scored a goal in his second game. Unfortunately injuries derailed his career.

And then there was the sad story with Dmitri Tertyshyny who played one season with the Flyers and then passed away from a boating accident.
