Well this seems... hard. I might not have gotten the DET/50s square wrong if I hadn't guessed Pete Babando, who apparently left DET after the '49-50 season!

He and Tony Leswick are the only 2 players who have scored a Cup-winning Game 7 OT goal, and both were for DET within 4 years in the 50s ('50 + '54), so if I had just remembered which was which year and taken Leswick instead, that would have worked...

Other miss was Ratelle, who I forgot started with NYR, I thought it was the other way around and that he was on the '70 Cup winner for sure...

It took me a long time to think of any answer for MIN/ANA. I started this game before work and had to finish after returning home lol. 9% on Latendresse is baffling.

There was a fun tidbit in the book "Future Greats and Heartbreaks" about the scouts interviewing a handful of the 2006 prospects. One thing they asked about Mueller was why he chose to go to the WHL when most Minnesota kids would dream about playing college hockey. I'd have to look up his response and whether that was something Columbus was concerned about.

I always chuckle when I'm able to use Yonkman. I'm always reminded of this press conference photo with the Panthers introducing a bunch of free agent signings. I liked to think Yonkman showed up unexpectedly.
