My usual go to for PIT+LAK would be Jim Paek, but I tried for something different. Unfortunately I got my French Canadian goalies mixed up between Sebastian Caron and J.S. Aubin. Aubin perhaps most notable for being the other goalie in this Ryan Miller commercial:

Garth Snow: 12 games with the '97 Flyers, 1 with the '95 Nordiques, 6 with the '02/'03 Isles, was with the '01 Pens but didn't see any PO time, but oh well, still amassed a respectable total of......... 9 PLAYOFF WINS?!?!?!?! :pullhair: :pullhair: :pullhair: :pullhair: :pullhair:

Lach Ness Monster...

Naming an undrafted Shark? Ughhhh...

Bah, I tried Vlad Namestnikov for the WPG+SJS square but he never officially suited up for the Sharks. San Jose got him from Tampa then traded him a couple days later.

I used Josef Korenar for undrafted Shark. He's kinda burned into my memory as an example of a team getting an intended draft pick without having to use a pick. At the 2017 Draft, San Jose traded two 7th rounders (#205 and #214) to the Devils for #185 to get Sasha Chmelevski who had been ranked a bit higher.

San Jose had earmarked Korenar with one of those 7ths but he slipped through undrafted. After the draft they offered him an ELC and got him anyways.

There was a poster who was making a big deal of the Devils giving up a 7th rounder for Daniel Sprong at the deadline. I used Korenar and a couple others as an example of teams getting their intended picks as undrafted free agents. But the guy seemed intent on making a mountain out of a molehill. [/coolstorybro]

Hall of Fame... Ottawa??? GTFO :damnpc:

That's only 4 guys, if you're keeping score (Alfie, Hasek, Hossa and Barrasso, so I picked the lowest % one :squint:

Also: frustrated that I forgot David Oliver for NYR/OTT, could have saved Nycholat for NYR/COL

Frickin' Johan Garpenlov and his 609 career games... :banghead:

Also, 40+ assists + NSH? Once again, gtfo!

ALSO - I was going to try Scott Walker, because I remembered him going off one year, but couldn't remember if that was with NSH or CAR...... :pout:

Ugh, arbitrary stat categories, including playoff stats :eyeroll:

Swing and a miss on Stillman for 5+ PO goals / TB, and was way off on Johan Garpenlov for 300+ career assists (man that guy burns me a lot, especially because I keep mis-remembering him as a Dman!)
