Remembering some guys through Puckdoku

This is interesting. Technically he didn't actually play for the Avalanche, just the Nordiques, which I didn't think would have counted in this game.
Should open up a lot of interesting options for the Jets and Coyotes.
When there's a cell telling to find a player who played for Anaheim Ducks and Winnipeg Jets I wonder how many answers Teemu Selänne.

I got 8/9 today on my mobile device. Then decided to cheat and write as obscure names as possible on my laptop. Wade Brookbank (NSH/BOS) and Rory Fitzpatrick (NSH/MTL) were mentioned as 0.0%.

this is a real thinkin mans game.

My wrong answer was thinking Joni Pitkanen played for Philadelphia and Nashville. I was thinking of Kimmo Timonen. More ashamed I forgot Forsberg for that one.

8/9 today. The Preds/Wild & Philly intersecions were giving me trouble,
I lost a guess because I had thought I remembered Legwand winding up in Philly but I guess he never did.

Ended up filling the Flyers/Preds by pulling the old "When in doubt, Mike Sillinger" card.

I got 9 out of 9 today but it took me about an hour. Nashville/Boston and Minny/Boston stumped me for a long while.

Interestingly though, Sergei Zholtok played for Boston, Montreal, Nashville, and Minnesota, so he could fill any of 4 boxes. I’m wondering if there’s a different “uniqueness” based on which box you put him in.

I’m really bad at this, so I’m kinda cheating a bit- I look up the records for one of the teams and then pick a guy I should remember and know played for one of the matches. Still fun, instead of racking my brain for hours I just get a quick history reminder. Oh ya, and Rinne didn’t win a damned Vezina. I knew that, shit.

He did in 2018.. they weren't asking for a Vezina winner from Nashville though

Rinne, Rask, my brain is mush. Good god, don’t even have the patience to remember things incorrectly- Rask did win one, my instinct was right, I’m just a dummy and switched names.

I am still not OK with my brain giving me a false memory for MTL/MIN.

Dubnyk never actually playing for the Canadiens, despite being traded to them, playing in the AHL, and being a black ace in the postseason is infuriating, and I don't know why. Put me on tilt enough that I biffed the BOS/NSH one as well.

I had a good game today:

As someone who's been updating my own documents with players signed to NHL contracts for almost decades now, this helps with remembering some obscure players. Being a Ducks fan further helped today. I remember St. Jacques signing with the Ducks in the first offseason I was following, playing one game and scoring one goal, never to be heard from again.
