6-1 loss to the pens then a 5-2 loss and i'm not so sure that's true.

I don't think Hynes was ever 'that' close to being fired...maybe a few more weeks of MacLean-like play but I never really thought it was imminent.

I also don't think they're completely out of the woods, especially if they do lose Vat for a while. They really need to pile up the points the next couple weeks.

I’m a huge critic of Zacha simply due to how frustrating he can be. That said, NJ is a better team with him in the lineup. Thought he had another nice game tonight.

This was a real gutsy win. They worked real hard to win this one considering being Down 1D for half the game and Philly basically immune to being penalized. They got some good bounces but this was a well earned w. Also like what I’m seeing from the call ups.

Hall had a wrap around he needed to bury. Bratt needed to score that Pp goal. Palms whiffed on an open net.

Mojo somehow always finds the goalie’s crease when he is wide open.

Yeah.

Those 3 missed opportunities could've come back to bite us.

Hall didn't reach far enough to complete the Clarkaround.

Bratt needed to elevate that puck a bit more (although he was in tight with the Goaltender so I'm not sure he had time to set himself)

Palms just plain MISSED on what should've been a slapshot goal.

Aside from that, Much-needed win to get back out of the basement.

I don't think anyone can argue with that, we're beyond one bad start or even two bad starts changing that. He's giving Shero a dilemma going into the offseason.

I don’t get why this is brought up constantly. There was never a controversy until Cory starts winning game or Keith implodes.

Right now this is academic. They still need to find some traction with Cory because Keith can’t play every night.

No but from here on in he pretty much shouldn't play anything other than a back-to-back either. Of course watch him play on Sunday and get thrown to the wolves again on a back to back. But what else can Hynes do...playing Cory the more winnable front game against Detroit could be a disaster.

He is too good defensively on top of the rest of the centers too raw.

His current non-scoring is also really unsustainable. Even by accident he is going to put a bunch of points up.

They need to do it now since they will either need Keith to play a ton of games in the second half or need Cory to at least be playing passable again.

They have played Keith as the starter all season. It’s clear there is no controversy for Hynes.

That was kks paddle that got the shot. Incredible save. I mean he saved himself, but still a top 10 save

It's Lovejoy's stick that the puck deflects off of. Or maybe they both got it, but it looks like it ticks off Lovejoy's stick.

At this point, I feel like if Zacha had a breakaway towards an empty net, the scoreboard would fall to block the goal. I used to same about Pandolfo, but at this point, he makes Pando look like a scoring machine. The luck's just not there right now. Hopefully potting one opens the floodgates.

Sorry but Kinky saved his own ass here(it was HIS paddle that LUCKILY got in the way of the puck and deflected it wide)...

LoveJoy still sucks. SUCKS SUCKS SUCCCCCCKSS!!! :silly::silly::silly::silly::silly:

But in all seriousness, he was okay tonight.

LJ is a solid 7th man who can fill in when someone is hurt, hopefully Vats is ok and Santini is back soon

I'll never get how it hitting the post a bunch can be a knock. A post has never in the history of the game "saved" a goal. If it hit the post, it wasn't going in...

Sure there was some sloppy points, but down our most important D man for more than half the game, missing some other key players AND playing against the flyers, I wouldn't expect anything more than a sloppy, chirpy, crap shoot win. I thought the Devils played great everything considered.

And KK did amazing, he didn't let a single puck in the net legally. That's a shutout no matter how you slice it.

He'd Patrick Stefan it.
