I thought we drafted him as center, and thus the Kempe/Kopi comparisons? And just out of curiosity, who do you think had a higher ceiling coming out of the draft, Kempe or Kopi?

Kopi was a little before I really started watching prospects but it's safe to say Kopitar was widely considered to have a higher ceiling. I likely would have agreed.

I did and still do think Kempe can be a Kopitar lite. Not as a dominant as Kopitar but but Kopitar is one of the top twoway players in the game. I think he can be a top player still.
