I just wish this 5 hour loop included the opening lines, too. "Hi, I'm Adam, Prince of Eternia... Fabulous super powers were given to me the day I held aloft my magic sword and sang..."

I'll have to find it once I get home. Thank you for rezzing this video!

Yeah, the opening is sort of long and I was afraid I'd lose people before the thing really takes off, so I used one of these clips that starts in medias res.

Edit: Besides, this thread is all about the dancing over Adrian Kempe- no sad-sack Adams needed!

:dumbo:

Is anybody really thinking about the implications of adding 2 outstanding LWs to the team around the same time (Kempe/Mersch)?

Those 2 may end up squeezing Pearson right down to the 3rd line.

A scary thought.
But scary-good.

Can Kempe succeed Lucic on the top line should Lucic leave after this year? Does he have that kind of talent?

Thanks Gann, great job!

I think it's too early to tell. He just turned 19 the other day.
There are so many things to like here and with continued improvement
in all areas, it seems like he can be.

2 years in the SEL, then some said he was Sweden's best player in the WJC,
and then comes to Manchester and had to adapt to a smaller rink,
was physically challenged and he not only survived, but did exceedingly
well. So he had to raise his game, adapt to a new league, new country, play in high tempo - intense playoff games, have new linemates (played on different lines too)
and said he went to the net to score. 8 playoff goals. How many 18 year olds are capable of all of that?

Plus, he can skate well at the NHL level, has great speed, can handle the puck at top speed and is about 6'3 200. He's MUCH bigger than the 6'2" 187. I hope they can
update that. He just turned 19. He may end up being 6'4" 220.

I like that he is also physical and goes to the net.

forgotten in this is that kempe has played center alot in the past. so he can also slide into the middle. i had him as a top 10 pick in 2014.

I thought we drafted him as center, and thus the Kempe/Kopi comparisons? And just out of curiosity, who do you think had a higher ceiling coming out of the draft, Kempe or Kopi?
