Tavares is too slow for OT, proceeds to start oreilly….a slower player

Core 4 just continue to not produce. All 4 were mediocre until the third where Matthews found his legs

Samsonov was good

Defence was good too

Great playoff tune up game, assertive physical play, strong goaltending, defense. Just a little light on the star power.

I don't think we should attempt to build a super line around Tavares. I'd just stick ROR with him and let them play a lower tempo muck it up, grind it out game. Conserve Matthews, Marner and Nylander for offense.

Good game by Lafferty, Aston-Reese as well.

It was a great game for both teams.
But at the end, the Leafs just didn’t have that extra bit that give them the win or over the hump. Call it clutch or champ DNA. Hopefully ROR will provide that in the playoffs.

Great game yadayada, we lost, nobody got hurt, our pride is hurt Elliott. That was a leaf playoff preview, process and result. I am of little faith. Boston brings back many a darkness.

I'm not even pissed that they reversed that call.

What I'm pissed off about is that if that was the Leafs getting the penalty they would have never reviewed that.

P.S where was that Phantom high stick call on Kerfoot in game 6 last year that the refs should have reviewed but they didn't?

Fuuuuuck me
The Bruins are both amazing and also the largest frauds I have ever seen in this league. They get outplayed they win. They outplay the other team they win. Boring game and somebody has to win, they win. Wtf is with that team this season. I mean that is a good team but they are performing like one of the greatest teams of all time. Does that seem like one of the greatest teams of all time? Bergeron in his prime is a greater player than Pasternak but now he is just a solid core guy. Marchand almost looks washed. DeBrusk in the top 6. I don’t get it.

Wanted Matthews to grab this game by the throat and make a statement. He had moments but I hoped for more.

It will be interesting to see if Bunting can be effective without being classic Bunting.

Samsonov was good. That's positive.
