A chance to prove how dumb we are.

You can redo the picks of any team and we’ll take a look after the season.

The rules:
  • You can either keep the player taken or any player taken after him, but if you switch players you can’t draft the original player after the pick.
  • You can undo any trade
  • You can take over an existing trade if you can beat the original package. For example the Giants could take over the Travis Hunter trade.

Jacksonville Jaguars, undo the Travis Hunter -trade here. The trade with the Lions, however, offers good value.

5th pick: Mason Graham (DT)
36th pick: Will Johnson (CB)
88th: pick: Tai Felton (WR)
89th: pick: Wyatt Milum (OT)
107th pick: Jack Kiser (LB)
126th pick: Bhayshul Tuten (RB, not sure if he would've been available, was 131th overall ranked at ESPN though)
194th pick: Jalen McLeod (LB)
200th pick: Rayuan Lane (S)
221th pick: Jonah Manheim (C)
236th pick: LeQuint Allen (RB)

Additionally, they still retain their own first-round pick for next year, plus they gain an extra third-rounder from the Lions.

Travis Hunter is replaced here by a CB/WR duo, and still get a great defensive tackle to help with the defensive line. Given that the Jaguars had a bottom-five defense last season and didn't do much to address it besides signing a few veteran backups, hiring an offensive-minded head coach, and focusing mainly on offensive picks, this defensive-heavy haul would make a lot of sense.

But hopefully the Hunter pick will pan out :)

I would be content with Shedeur over Shough.
Especially given their draft positions. 40 vs 144. Could have taken a position player at 40 and used #131 to draft Sanders in hindsight. But, this is the guy Kellen wanted. Rookie HC so I get not wanting to have Deion Sanders potentially giving comments on the QB situation of the Saints throughout the season.

I'd have taken the Falcons trade up for the Steelers and picked Darius Alexander with that pick. Downgrade at DL, but Alexander does still have the raw potential to get there, and now a team that's pretty much locked into spending their 2026 1st on a QB gets an extra 1st to make it work.

Denver Broncos:

I'm inclined to give George Paton the benefit of the doubt since he's drafted well in his four years with the Broncos, while being handicapped by picks given up in the Russel Wilson and Sean Payton trades.

I'm going to keep the Bronco's trade downs, because I have no desire to untangle that mess.

Actual draft:

My picks:

1/20 Nick Emmanori, S, South Carolina
2/60 Harold Fannin Jr, TE, Bowling Green
3/74 Savion Williams, WR, TCU
3/101 Cam Skattebo, RB, Arizona State
4/134 Jordan James, RB, Oregon
6/216 Jeremy Crawshaw, P, Florida (my keeper)
7/241 Logan Brown, OT, Kansas

Why not? I'm always up for having something to laugh at myself for thinking in hindsight. I'm also keeping all of the trades.

1/31 Jihaad Campbell, LB Alabama KEEP
2/64 Kevin Winston, S Penn St (This would have been Revel if the Eagles played a ton of Man)
4/111 Que Robinson, EDGE Alabama (Most important change to me by far even if I like Ty Robinson.)
5/145 Bradyn Swinson, EDGE LSU
5/161 Smael Mondon, LB Georgia KEEP
5/168 Drew Kendall, C/G Boston College KEEP
6/181 Cam Williams, OT Texas KEEP (actually selected at 207)
6/191 Myles Hinton, OT Michigan KEEP
6/207 Thomas Fidone, TE Nebraska
6/209 Tommi Hill, CB Nebraska

5 picks exactly the same is a pretty big compliment. I have no complaints. Every pick they made was reasonable.

Keeping all of the trades and not making any new ones.

Real Vikings Draft.

1.24 OL Donovan Jackson, Ohio St.
3.102 WR Tai Felton, Maryland
5.139 DL Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, UGA
6.201 LB Kobe King, Penn St.
6.202 TE Gavin Bartholomew, Pitt

My Draft:

1.24 S Malaki Starks, UGA
- I liked the Jackson pick and Guard is probably a bigger need than Safety, but I just think Starks is the better prospect.
3.102 WR Tai Felton
- I probably make the same pick here given upside and staying true to the board, but I'd be SO tempted to take RB Cam Skattebo instead. DT Deone Walker and CB Quincy Riley would be other options since those positions were more of a need than WR. I just like Felton.
5.139 DL Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins
- I'll leave this too because DL was a need and there's no one I like that much better. My other option would be RB Deven Neal since I didn't take Skattebo.
6.201 RB Damien Martinez, Miami
- Martinez is a steal and potential playmaker in the 6th especially after I passed on Skattebo and Neal.
6.202 LB Cody Lindenberg, Minnesota
-I don't mind Kobe King, but I just prefer Lindenberg. Right in there backyeard too. Bartholomew probably maxes out at TE3 and there were similar talents who went undrafted.

-One guy I considered but didn't pick in my re-do because they Vikings signed him as a UDFA anyway was OL Logan Brown from Kansas.
