I've never seen a quarterback have such a consistent problem throwing the ball over the heads/arms of opposing linemen. Would be a different game otherwise. Hope Dru is back soon.

This guy is trash. I’d rather start Crum. At least he’s entertaining.

The whole notion of using a backup quarterback in short yardage situations is totally ridiculous. You have a guy like Stanbeck (or any half decent running back for that matter) but he can't be trusted to get you half a yard ? It also underlines the ineptitude and lack of creativity of our offensive coordinator when you can't design an effective short yardage play with the personnel we have. Nope, lets just keep giving it to the backup quarterback and pray our crappy offensive can create an opening time after time after time.

So far this season I don't like the O-line

That isn't our normal line...lots of injuries.

Still, they aren't effective enough at this stage.

I died a little inside when they signed Shiltz. He is your classic journeyman backup QB, just good enough to get you beat. You saw it the other night as well when Masoli had to go in late for Rourke in BC. He threw a couple of completions, and then a bad pick to end any hope BC had. Pro coaches, though, are the most risk averse people on the planet, and they will live and die with their veterans. Drives me insane...

Redblacks D just had a solid goalline stand. Been a sloppy game, the rain certainly doesn't help.

He played smart.

There were a number of big drops, as well. His statline could have been much better. Nice to see the run game, overall, get going.
